What are porcelain veneers?
Porcelain veneers are thin shells of ceramic that bond directly to the front surfaces of the teeth. They are an ideal choice for improving your smile and have become increasingly popular due to their simplicity and versatility. The brand “Lumineers” has become one of the most used veneer systems. Our office is proud to offer Lumineers to our patients.
Placing custom veneers requires a high degree of technical skill as well as attention to cosmetic detail. Drs. Fuentes and Pavone place veneers routinely, but design each case individually to match and enhance characteristics already present in each patient’s teeth.
What are dental implants?
Dental implants are permanent tooth root substitutes which when surgically placed in the jawbone, act as an anchor to stabilize artificial teeth. Implants work so well because the material from the implant biologically bonds with the living bone. Dental implants can be used to replace one missing tooth, several missing teeth or for a patient missing all their teeth. Prosthetic options include single crowns (caps), bridgework or an implant retained overdenture.
What are “clear” braces?
Clear braces are the best way to straighten your teeth without having to live with the “metal mouth” look of traditional braces. That’s because our braces are a series of clear, removable, plastic aligners that are custom-made for your teeth.
How often should I have a check up?
Adults should have a check up every six months. Children should begin receiving regular exams at about age 2. We stress preventative treatment at Dental Groups of NJ. Maintaining a healthy mouth is the best way to prevent significant problems.
Do you accept my insurance?
We accept most insurance from PPOs to Medicaid. If you have any questions regarding your insurance do no hesitate to contact your nearest Dental Groups of NJ office.
Do you offer payment plans?
We offer payment plans to accomodate those patients that require treatment but do not have dental insurance. Our staff will be happy to explain to you all the details of the payment plans we offer.
